Children’s Christmas Party – Sunday 21st December 2pm-4pm.
There is no charge for the party, but we ask parents to bring along some party
food on the day. Please sign your child(ren)’s name(s) on the list in the porch
and add the party food you can bring along. We look forward to seeing all the
children there!
Votive Candles: In the interests of safety, please do not put votive candles
onto the foil tray underneath the candle holders. This is a fire hazard. Thank
you.
Parish Social on
Saturday, 3rd January 2026: Thank you to those who have signed up for the Chip Shop
Parish Social. This event is now full. It would be appreciated if
anyone still to pay can give the money to a member of the Parish Social
Committee, who will be collecting after Masses this weekend. Arrangements for the evening are: 6 pm start; Tea/coffee
available on arrival; Burntisland Fry to deliver food between 6.30-7.00 pm; Tea/coffee,
home baking, biscuits and chocolates provided for after the meal. Bring Your
Own Bottle - you are welcome to bring your own bottle of juice or alcohol to
enjoy during the evening
Educamus Tuition: Thank you once again
for the book donations earlier in the year. The target of 200 books was achieved and they will be distributed as part of the
Christmas hampers being delivered to the less fortunate in central
Scotland.
Exhibition of
Ukrainian Icons: Saturday 27 December, 11 am to 4 pm - We are privileged to have chance to show 11 icons painted by
Ukrainian artists onto Ammunition box lids that have come from the war zone in
Ukraine. Free entry to the exhibition, cash donations invited. Donations after
expenses go to medical charities working in Ukraine; for any icon sold 30% goes
to the artist. The exhibition needs volunteers to set up, take down and staff
it – if you can do an hour or two on 27 December, please get in touch! Enquiries and volunteering: revelaine212@gmail.com

As we celebrate
the birth of our Saviour, the Prince of Peace, let us pray and hope for peace
in the world, for the triumph of light over darkness and for the many people
suffering the horrific consequences of war and displacement.
A very
Happy Christmas! Fr James
