Thursday is the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord and is a Holyday of Obligation. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am and 7:00pm.

 

Next Sunday is World Communications Day. There will be a collection for the apostolate of communications.

 

 

 

 

First Holy Communion:  Next Sunday we will celebrate First Holy Communion at the 10:00am Mass. Please keep the young people in your prayers as they prepare to make this important step on their journey of faith.

 

Deanery Holy Year Gathering:  Sunday 25th May, Carmelite Monastery, Dysart, 4.30pm-5.30pm. This month’s theme is “Pilgrimage” and will be led be Deacon Pat Carrigan.

 

Wine Tasting Social Evening:  The Social Committee invite you to a wine tasting in the Church Hall on Friday 20th June, 6.45pm for a 7.00pm start. £10. Nibbles will be available and if anyone wants to bring their own nibbles, that’s OK.

 

SSVP Appeal -  Burntisland Primary is in the process of setting up a clothing/uniform bank and expanding their play area. They would gratefully receive any items of clothing or uniform or outdoor clothing suitable for primary age children. They also require clothing rails and hangers. If you can assist please give to a SSVP member or leave in church porch.

 

Lourdes 2025: Spaces available for supported pilgrims:  A small number of spaces have become available for supported pilgrims on the Archdiocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes (11 to 18 July 2025). St Margaret's Pilgrimage - Sunday 8 June: All are welcome at the annual St Margaret's Pilgrimage in Dunfermline on Sunday 8 June. Join Archbishop Leo, clergy, and people from across Scotland for the procession through the town centre with the relic of St Margaret at 2:00pm, followed by Holy Mass at 3:00pm in St Margaret's Church. Corpus Christi Procession - Sunday 22 June: Archbishop Leo will lead the Archdiocesan Corpus Christi Procession from St Patrick’s Church in Kilsyth at 3:00pm on Sunday 22 June. This is a joyous occasion with the Blessed Sacrament being carried through the streets. First Holy Communicants in the Archdiocese are invited to take a special place in the procession wearing their formal clothes. Parking available at the Church. Laudato webinar: Bishop John Arnold of Salford Diocese is the guest speaker at a webinar to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Pope Francis' encyclical Laudato Si'. Jubilee Year Picnic for families: Join families from across the Archdiocese for a Jubilee Year picnic on Saturday 28 June, 11:00am – 4:00pm at The Gillis Centre, 100 Strathearn Road, Edinburgh, EH9 1BB. There will be spiritual talks on the theme of Hope and talks and games for children. Includes Rosary at The Grotto and concludes with Holy Mass in St Margaret's Chapel.
