Today is World Day of the Poor: The second collection will be for the Missionaries of Charity and the Sisters of Mercy in Edinburgh, to assist with their work with the homeless in the city.

 

Could the young people who have volunteered to sing with the Music Group on 11th December please meet with Sarah after Mass this morning, please.

 

Seniors’ Christmas Party: SSVP will be hosting the annual Seniors Christmas Party on Sunday 9th December at 2pm.  Festive Dining and Sing-Along with  Morris the Maestro! Please put your name on the list in the porch if you wish to attend.

East Fife Ladies Choir - Concert in St Joseph’s, Tuesday 11th December, 7.30pm. On the evening of the concert there are several tasks looking for “willing hands.” Please see Winnie Daly if you can help. Thank you.

 

St Joseph’s Children`s Christmas Party, Saturday 15th December, 12 pm - 1.30pm. As there is no charge for this event we ask parents to bring along some party food. There is a list in the porch for you to sign your child`s name up and to indicate which party food you can provide. We look forward to seeing the children there. SSVP 70 Years: 70 Gifts: Donations of non-perishables for the Food Bank, or a toy for a child, would be greatly appreciated and distributed as appropriate. A box is available in the porch. 

 

Advent Talks for Young Adults on the threefold theme of Faith, Hope and Love, Sunday 2, 9 & 16 December at Gillis Centre, Edinburgh, 5-7pm. Talk; Questions; Exposition, Confessions, Night Prayer & Benediction followed by pizza and refreshments. All very welcome.
